I get bombarded with 123Greetings “affiliate” emails and cannot stop them. Using unsubscribe actually makes it worse. Do you really think people actually buy anything from these sites? If they do, they’re idiots. It’s a tired, invasive, unimaginative and lazy way to make money. Do something honest instead of harassing people.

Advertising is numbing and dumbing the public. There are even ads ON THE FLOOR of my local big-box home store! You can’t even shoe-gaze any more. STOP!

Oh, you said make money with a free e-greeting card site? I think that’s a typo, what you meant was: make money by handing over all of your friends and family’s email addresses to spammers.

123greetings has been around for ages, I remember using their services a couple of years ago. The nice thing about using them is you’ll be working with a site that is stable and has been around for some time.

I’ve been using their associates program to offer ads for the past few years now.

However, it isn’t much of a benefit, because at the end of the day you aren’t really offering much original.

My associates offering is still active, but well, I’m planning on reusing my domain isentthis.com for something new.

I’m not sure about online greeting card websites. I think that the concept of online greeting cards is great for the environment but there are less free ones than there used to be and I’m still bombarded with spam/virus emails telling me I have received a greeting card. So many people simply treat greeting cards as spam.

This is kind of cool, but also I feel for some reason it would be an invasion of the site. Just doesn’t feel right to me. But if your a band or something this might be a cool promo.
