Last week, our poll asked readers to vote on their favourite budget web host Which Is The Best Budget Web Host? [MakeUseOf Poll] Which Is The Best Budget Web Host? [MakeUseOf Poll] Read More . Basically, the results gave us a showdown between GoDaddy and Blue Host.

GoDaddy won by a very small margin on 23%; Blue Host got 22% of the votes; HostGator was third on 15%; iPage 6%; Web Hosting Pad 6%; Just Host 5%; IX Web Hosting 4%. The rest received under 4% each.

    +infinite to this. To make a real poll wp.com should've had "not self hosted wp" in brackets to make it clear.

    I like WordPress for the simple fact that WordPress.org is the best platform of all time and WordPress.com users have the advantage of learning it so they can upgrade to hosting their own more easily.

    I also use posterous as a quick blogging tool and a sort of photo blogging tool because it makes blogging on the go so easy.

    WP.com will win for the mere fact that those that self-host WP will vote for the platform, not the host. I voted for posterous but I also like Tumblr and Blogger.

    For your information, Windows Live informed all the live blog users to migrate to WordPress host last month back ... should be counted in this poll?
