Cool, thanks for the tools.
Im using Evernote. Which is great because I can sync al my stuff.

But I like the OmniOutliner way of "outline" items.
Because I want to keep track of my tasks in a simple way like these outlines. I mean, a task can have a subtask, and that. No due dates, priorities, etc. Just a tree/outline view of items.

If you know of something like what I need, tell me please. Even if it's not free (but other than Omni).

THanks, L

Well, there's no ONE particular free app which replaces OmniOutliner. I'd personally use Evernote and xPad as sort of a replacement. And perhaps VoodooPad Lite. Hope that helps.

Speaking of GTD applications. I found an application that allows me to view my entire GTD at work on my Win machine, at home on my Macs and even on my cell phone. And another app lets me call in tasks to my GTD without any writing or typing, great for those thoughts that hit me while driving. I've written about my experiences with GTD in a blog post at http://johnkendrick.wordpress.com/2008/03/27/more-getting-things-done/ John

As for ripping DVD on Mac, I'd prefer using this DVD Ripper for Mac. It supports copyright protected DVD, and here is a guide about how to use it

I'm glad you found them helpful. Well... some prefer OpenOffice. Others prefer NeoOffice. There's always going to be this debate about which is better. Since NeoOffice was MADE for Mac, so I chose that. But give OpenOffice a try and let us know how it goes.

Thank you for these articles! They are very helpful

One note though... your first article in this series suggested NeoOffice. The official OpenOffice 3.0 (which is officially available tomorrow) is now a native OS X app! :-)

Lifehacker says OOo3 is available on download servers now in preparation for tomorrows launch!
