i agree with Anomaly, multi-tab in windows 7 is useless, just open another file explorer and it will combine the new window into a group on the taskbar. so its like multi-tab + a nice preview when you hover it.
the dual panel on the other hand, is a must have feature, and Q-Dir does a great job when it comes to dual/multi-panel.
however, the one thing that i did like in Explorer++ is how lightweight and small size he’s.

Q-Dir is so much better. The lack of a dual pane UI in Explorer ++ is a major missing feature. Q-Dir has four panes if you want. It’s configurable how many panes you want to use. Q-Dir also has tabs in each of the panes. It’s also portable .
