I think this is very cool. I agree that for pattern recognition there’s no computer like the human subconscious, and so people SHOULD be playing around with protein conformations if they’ve nothing better to do.

What would be great is to get real rewards for a good job, so for example if someone finds a novel way of fitting a really complex conformation together, they should get IQ points added.
Eventually those with ratings over a certain level should be paid to do it for a living.

Aboriginals would probably be the most gifted at this.
