flightboardfeat FlightBoard Lets You View Departures & Arrivals Like You Were At The Airport [iOS, Free For A Limited Time]Traveling via airplane can be a real headache. There are so many factors to consider and so many things to remember when it comes to heading to the airport and getting on a flight. Personally, anything that can make the process of flying a little less painful makes me happy. Thankfully, the advent of the smartphone has made the traveling process a whole lot easier with all of the awesome applications.

For keeping track of flights, FlightBoard is the best app I have seen. It is incredibly easy to use, and it provides all the information a traveler needs before they venture off to the airport. It gives you all the information you need about departing flights without all the extra fluff that is just a waste. It’s interface is clean, and to put it simply, it just works when you need it to. For finding out flight information, FlightBoard is as good as it gets.

Guess what? It’s Friday, so that means this app is available from the App Store free for a limited time! Want to save $3.99? Who doesn’t? Download the app free and thank me later.

Features

This app offers a flight board that is designed to look just like the boards you would see at an actual airport. It gives you information about all the flights that are coming and going, and lets you know whether there are any delays that could affect your travel experience. The interface of the board is designed to look like Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, and it’s quite beautiful.

The arrow on the top right of the screen allows you to switch between arrivals and departures. The arrow pointing up, as you an probably guess, is departures, while the arrow pointing down is arrivals. This way, if you are using the app not because you are flying, but because you are picking up a friend, you can do that as well.

I don’t understand why they would make it free for iOS but for Android.
