When Google introduced their Chrome browser to the Internet, one thing that distinguished it from all the other browsers at the time (apart from Javascript speed and technology) was their minimalistic browser interface. There was no menu bar at the top. There was only the address bar and back/forward buttons. To access settings and options you had to click a single menu button at the corner and access all the settings from there.

Firefox soon followed and also introduced a single settings button at the top right corner. Some people liked it for simplicity and unobtrusiveness, some people did not. So if you are one of those who doesn’t like the new menu interface, check out the Firefox Button Classic menu add-on for Firefox.

Instead of the new Firefox button it shows you the more familiar classic menu with the old-school options like File, View, Tools etc. To get the classic menu simply download and install this add-on to your Firefox and enjoy the classic menu options.

In addition to the standard menu options this add-on also lets you enable other useful additional options like “Web developer”, “Downloads”, “Add-ons” and others, all accessible from the same menu button.

Do you have one of these add-ons for Google Chrome? I was going to switch to Chrome until I went to
use the standard menu bar at the top of the page, and learned some stupid idiot did away
with it!! I love Firefox, but it keeps freezing and giving "Firefox Not Responding" messages.

    Thank You,
