Last week we asked you about your email habits, where you check your emails, and which interface you prefer. If you thought desktop email clients are dead, think again. Take a look at these results!

Out of 473 votes in total, 45% use only web interface for emails, 31.5% use a combination on web interface and a desktop client, 17.5% use only a desktop client, and 6% use mainly their mobile device for emails. Surprised?

Full results and this week’s poll after the jump.

While only 17.5% use a client exclusively, almost a third of the voters us a client at some point of their day, in combination with a web interface. That’s pretty impressive. Desktop clients are by no mean dead!

Yes, I know, not everyone cares about Apple. I, personally, don’t own any Apple merchandise except a first gen. iPad I got for my birthday two years ago, but never the less, almost everyone keeps an eye on new Apple releases, and most people can’t help but have an opinion. Do you think the iPhone 5 is awesome, or another boring addition to a boring smartphone family? What do you think of the new iPod Touch? Did you get a chance to check out the new redesign on iTunes? If you haven’t, take a quick look, and tell us: which new addition is YOUR favorite? We may be in for some surprises!

Don’t forget to mention in the comments what you think of all these new releases, what makes your favorite the best, or why you simply don’t care about any of this.

Well, looking at the so called improvements in iOS and Mac OS, I must say it was the Snow Leopard which was the best Mac OS of the time. Lion is great but it takes all things to now boring iOS looks. Apple hasn’t done any changes to their iOS or any such OSes and hardware devices for what they used to laugh on Microsoft. There’s no notable improvements in iPhone since iPhone 3GS. Most of the features are just for the lux. And even, most of the features are US only or equivalent. Other countries get restrictions. New Mac OS Lion features awkward iOS like scrolling, new Mountain Lion saves all your documents on iCloud by default, great but space? Just 5GB! Even a backup of an iPhone will fill those things up, now some fanboys will come up to say: pay and get more space. Great, it is what Apple is known for, your device isn’t complete without extra accessories and services. New MacBook Air/MacBook Pro with Retina Display isn’t upgradeable at all, the RAM modules are soldered on the mobo, the batteries are soldered, the screen is ‘like’ soldered, nothing can be opened because of that elegant so called eco friendly design. And those unimagined eye watering hefty price! Even iPhone with a $400 tag(all inclusive by the latest iPhone 5) sells at $ 833 in some countries. Don’t get me started at those things. But yes, Apple do lead in revolutions(do it really?) like retina display, iphone and making touch input mainstream etc. Okay, I’ve come so far from the topic. I think Leopard and Snow Leopard were the best Mac OS releases of all time and you may add Lion to that at some extent. I really love Mac OS Snow Leopard and have tried both Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion abd based on the experience, I’ll go for the Snow Leopard. I don’t take iOS simply because it is not productive in real life. One doesn’t play with their iPads and iPhones with so many of apps and retina display and HD movie playback ability to earn their money. I’ll go for Mac OS Snow Leopard, simply elegant and with what Apple really did revolutionary changes for a Mac OS. Only if they supported Mac OS on non Apple devices…

Apple is losing some of its qualities like keeping the secret of its products, bringing new technology to revolutionize the world.I see iPhone 5 as an answer to large screen Android phones.

Tech support job security. I’m still getting tech calls for the 3GS, 4, 4s and now i will be getting calls for the 5. Ya gotta love Apple.
