Keeping a private journal helps many of us. It is comforting to record our thoughts in a diary at the end of the day and keep a record of our updates and emotions. This way we can look back on the past more easily and quickly check dates of important happenings. But physical diaries come not only with a simple section to record thoughts but also sections for a calendar and noting down events. Thus any journal application for your smartphone that aims to replace the physical diary should include these extra sections as well.

Everyday Timeline is a journal application for your smartphone that lets you record not only thoughts and events, but a lot more too.

I use this app, because it reminds me daily - at the end of the day. It's great, because it accesses my FB account and gives me the opportunity to comment on my posts. Another great feature is the blast from the past FB feature, though I have only been able to go as far back as one year. Simple to use, overall a good little app.
