You can use Evernote for so many things, like keeping track of ideas, maintaining to do lists, and much more. Evernote will also sync with your devices. No matter where you are, you can access all of your important notes.

There are all kinds of Evernote keyboard shortcuts for Windows, that make navigating Evernote much easier on your PC?

Global

  • Switch to Evernote & jump to a new note -> Ctrl+Alt+N
  • Start screen capture mode -> Winkey+Print Screen
  • Cancel screen capture -> Esc
  • Clip selection -> Winkey+A
  • Find in Evernote -> Winkey+Shift+A
  • Paste clipboard into Evernote as a new note -> Ctrl+Alt+V

Note: all standard shortcuts like Paste, Copy, Cut, etc. work as well.

Application-wide

  • Synchronize with Evernote Web -> F9
  • Create a new note -> Ctrl+N
  • Minimize to tray -> Alt+F4
  • Exit application -> Ctrl+Q
  • Start search -> F6
  • Reset search -> Ctrl+Shift+A
  • Display left panel -> F10
  • Display note list -> F11
  • Display note panel -> Ctrl+F11
  • Display search explanation -> Ctrl+F10
  • Set note list to Table view -> Ctrl+F5
  • Set note list to Mixed view -> Ctrl+F6
  • Set note list to Thumbnails -> Ctrl+F7
  • Display note info panel -> F8
  • Display note editing toolbar -> Ctrl+F8
  • Rename selected item -> F2
  • Go to the tag field of the active note -> F3
  • Create a new notebook -> Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Create a new tag -> Ctrl+Shift+T
  • Create a new saved search -> Ctrl+Shift+S
  • Assign tags -> Ctrl+Alt+T
  • Start spell-checking -> F7

  • One page up -> Page Up
  • One page down -> Page Down
  • First note in list -> Home
  • Last note in list -> End
  • Select all notes -> Ctrl+A
  • Open selected note in a new window -> Ctrl+Enter
  • Print -> Ctrl+P
  • Print preview -> Ctrl+F2

  • Focus on Note list -> Esc
