Not impressed. I just spend some time logging into and trying to use AirSet and from a Usability / User Experience perspective, it's horrible... seems to be a lot of functionality, but no intuitive way of getting it setup.

I guess I expected a replacement for my desktop on my PC... something with Office/OpenOffice, some kind of 'Outlook-like' client and such. A one-stop shop for everything but on the web. I think although billed as a 'Cloud Desktop' this is really a shared-intranet tool something like a much more interactive interface with the features of SharePoint etc?

Anyhow... in just trying to play with it, bad experience... cant find how to add others, how much file space do I get initially, do I need to install the actual Java software on my PC (which I think I do...)... etc.

Nice idea, but needs more maturity. I'm going to contact them and see if there is any way to help to that end...

Nowadays, all the world is going digital!!! This is now time to have your whole comuter on the web. I was amased by the AirSet application. However, i'm using http://g.ho.st
At G.ho.st there are more applications and tools (file storage, email account, you tube, flicker, messengers...) They also have http://g.ho.st/m for the cellphone. It is a real web operating system.
I think that the web desktop is the future of the computer.

By using these Web operating systems, you can imagine how will you work in the next generation!!!

Nevertheless thanks for the great information. :)

Yep... I'm using Cloudo now since they decided to make it public. I don't use it for any kind of serious purpose but I think it's a cool idea. Cheers.
