It is possible to use CapsCake (US and Canada Only) to automatically search the provider and launch the email

Yes they can, I’ve been “texting” a person in texas (from New Zealand, that doesn’t matter though) and she’s been texting back for about a month now.

You can even add the person to your contact list.

Don’t ask about pricing though, the person I email has unlimited texts so, I don’t know how much it costs per text to text an email address.

I use this to create ring tones for my friends online and then send them to their phones. It’s a free ring tone and they just pay standard text messaging. They all seem to like it!
