Howdy! I worked at woot! for awhile before grad school. BOC is exactly what they described before. The big things are fairly rare in terms of how many BOC are actually sold, but there is something big like that on every BOC day.

Monkeys are exactly that. A little monkey doll, rhesus I believe, that comes with a cape and stretchable arms that "flies" and screams. It was probably my second favorite item they ever sold, second only to the cheap styrofoam taiwanese RC airplanes.

They sell all kinds of things with the woot! off, and one is likely to get a bunch of old Sansa clips as they are to get a 65" Olevia TV (freaking amazing they are), especially around Christmas when things get busy.

BOC's are what they are tho. You may very well get a vacuum cleaner that's broken, mislabeled Mary Kay products, or a busted Disney Princesses clock that retails for $30 but wholesales for $5.

Enjoy!

A WootOff is when they do multiple deals of the day, usually items that hadn't sold out recently. The deals have a time limit, like say an hour, and they will run till that time is up or it is sold out. You can spend your entire day glued to your computer with a WootOff wondering what the next item will be!

This a terrific tool! I've been manually going to several of the "deal-o-the-day" sites. This will speed up the process. Just wish it let you add other sites. Some others I like are tigzoo.com , schnoop.com and scoobydeal.com

hahah a boc is a bag of crap, which usually for 5 bucks will give you all kinds of suprises (one person got a 42 inch tv, another a video projector!) unfortunately everyone goes crazy when trying to buy one and it usually crashes the site, so this program is great in that it allows you to go straight to the purchase page for the bag of crap (lol or any other name you can give it bag of crap, bandoleer of carrots, anything that starts with boc) lol
