Split-screen browsing allows a user to simultaneously view and use two websites without having to change browser tabs. While desktop users have been making use of this feature for quite some time, phone owners have only recently been able to benefit from it, thanks to an app called DualWeb Browser.

that's an awesome native app for side by side viewing. you could also try http://th.isandth.at for your side.by side web site please. it uses I frames so not everything works but its not bad. You can send the pair as a single link so anyone can see them side by side too. try it out, its "livingsroupon" http://th.isandth.at/#leftTarget=groupon.com&rightTarget=livingsocial.com

how about making the split vertical. one on top of the other. then the first one is actually upside down. this way, 2 people can share the device -- use the browser and be in different sites simultaneously.

or. split the window side by side. then rotate the browsers 90 degrees to the opposite sides so again 2 people can share the device.
