I’m not one to usually utilize these software / online packages that are file cabinets. HOWEVER. I just started back to school and needed a location that was easy to obtain from work, home, school, phone etc.. WOW…DROPBOX ROCKS~ My only negative comment is that it dosen’t provide a lot of FREE space. i’m having to upgrade already and I’m only on week 2.

I’ve been using that feature from Dropbox for years now. Oddly enough, you simply had to ask them for it. Odd because you had to know to ask.

You could share a public link before, that’s true, but you had to have the file in your Public folder for that, and the interface for non-Dropbox users was different as well.

This just makes everything much more convenient.

I think this has been around for a while. I used this feature back in October.
