Are you looking for a way to easily create a local backup of your Facebook images? Or perhaps you are looking for a more convenient way to upload images to your Facebook account? In either case, you should check out an application called Drop N Sync.

Drop N Sync is a free to use desktop application that makes uploading images to Facebook extremely easy. Conversely, the app also greatly simplifies getting images from Facebook and creating a copy of them locally. You start by downloading the application’s setup file that is sized at nearly 2 MB and install said file.

With the application installed and running, you are required to sign in to your Facebook account through the app’s interface and then provide its Facebook app with the necessary authorizations. With this step complete, you can then select which of your Facebook albums you want synchronized to your computer. The exact folder to which the images are synchronized can also be specified. With this step complete, the app downloads your Facebook images and keeps an eye out for any new ones that you upload.

To upload images onto Facebook, you can simply transfer the images to one of the album folders created by the application; this will upload the image to your existing Facebook albums. To create a new album, simply create a new folder and name it what you want the album to be titled. The app will quickly pop up a window which will ask you for the album’s description; the privacy of the album can set either Public or Friends.

During the installation of the application, you might want to opt out of installing the toolbar that is enabled by default.
