Thank you SO much for this and it coincidentally comes at exactly the right time. I need to reinstall Windows 7 Pro on my desktop and I tried the official MS download today but it only offered French and Korean language versions. After spending 25 minutes on Chat, the Chat tech finally told me to call CS and they told me MS is no longer sending out media or providing any downloads other than for Win10. You're a lifesaver!

Thr iso's are original? No up to date updates integrated?

    • JD
      May 1, 2016 at 5:44 am

Kye, all the iso's are from MSFT and original. Unfortunately they never came out with SP2,which would have integrated the cumulative updates. If you search the forums, there may be a way to bypass the tedious update process and shorten it by quite a bit.

      • JD
        May 1, 2016 at 6:12 am

Kye, after you clean install win 7, dismantle auto updates immediately and go to MSFT and search for the offline .net framework 4.52 download. After download select run. This will cut your update process significantly because it has all the previous .net frameworks integrated.

    Thanks for the great article.

    Got a question...

I've got a Toshiba C75D-B7300 laptop that came with Windows 8.1 Home, but I upgraded to Windows 10 Home when MS came out with the free upgrade. Could I download the Windows 10 Home ISO and do a clean install with my current product key? Just wondering?

I'm like JD, I'm going to download all of the Win 7 ISOs for myself and all the other folks in my life who are die hard Win 7 fans. I've got an old 32-bit Dell Laptop lying around that I'd like to install Win 7 Pro on.

Take care and keep up the great work!!!

      May 1, 2016 at 5:33 am

Hey Dennis, once you have upgraded to 10 you wont need the product key to do a clean install, you will already have a digital entitlement on the MSFT servers, unless of course if you change your motherboard. Just skip entering your key and you'll be good to go, Good luck

    Great article Tina.

    Direct from the legitimate source.

Only one problem and you need to edit it. The code you posted does not work. You need to go to the You Tube channel and hit the dropdown menu to show more and open the script link and redo you script. Its missing a line of code.

Tried yours and didn't work. Used the You Tube script and it worked perfectly. Noticed a missing line at the end that you didn't include.

Otherwise an informative article as always. Thanks JD

Just a few weeks ago I was on the hunt for a win 7 ultimate iso and although you can find a few download sites, they all seemed rather dubious, so I stayed away.

With the win 10 release MSFT doesn't really want you to have them. This was a Godsend.
As a matter of fact, I downloaded all the 7 iso's!!! Ya never know when you'll need them.

Keep up the great work Tina, and I always look forward to your articles.
