Same problem here…Location Service is ON. But GPS/current loc doesn’t work in Localscope.

Hello Craig,

I’d like to understand the problem you are facing with Localscope in a little detail. The GPS works fine for us and none of our customers have reported this problem. Have you enabled GPS for Localscope on your iPhone and does it have access to the internet?

Please do share the problem you are facing through the Request Help in the settings for Localscope.

The search in the Current Location drawer is enabled only if GPS is OFF and it enables you to search for locations around your friend’s address (using your iPhone address book) whom you might be visiting and might want to decide on a few locations to go to around their place.

I bought localscope on the basis of this promo…..
What a waste of money. The GPS doesn’t work, the compass doesn’t work, current location doesn’t work, searching takes you into your address book…..I could go on…
search for a restaurant suggests good places in Namibia etc.
Sorry, I don’t usually gripe about iPhone apps, but this one is appalling!!
