Do you set your PC to go to sleep when it's not in use? This can help conserve some electricity, but it also creates an extra step when you want to use your computer again.

Of course, I'm talking about having to enter your password. And if you're being smart and using a secure password, this can actually take a few seconds.

If you have no reason to worry about other people in your home using your PC, here's how to make it so you can wake your computer up from sleep mode without entering a password each time!

  • Open the Settings app (type Settings into the Windows 10 search bar).
  • Click Accounts.
  • Open Sign-in options.
  • Go to the Require sign-in section and select Never from the dropdown menu.

And that's it! Now, you can walk away from your computer and go do other things without worrying about entering your password when you return.
