This week’s poll question is: Did Your Facebook Account Ever Get Hacked?
You’re trying to log into Facebook, as you do every day, and suddenly things don’t work right. You’re locked out of your account, while concurrently, your friends are telling you that weird things are being posted in your name. Helplessness, frustration, anger… this is probably what you feel at that moment. How the heck did this happen? Or did it never happen to you? Hacking into personal accounts of any kind is common, and Facebook is a huge target for hackers. Has your own Facebook account ever been hacked?
If you’ve been hacked before, share the experience. Did you ever find out how it happened? Any tips on preventing it? If you’ve never been hacked, share your secrets!
