When it comes to very large files, mostly all online file transfer solutions fail. You could use a file hosting website but even they do not always accommodate the file size of very big files. Transferring large files online is indeed a problem. And Cryogenic FileSplitter is the solution.

split big files

Cryogenic FileSplitter is a tiny freeware utility written in C# for Windows operating systems. The program is only 176KB large and requires no installation. It simplifies what many advanced file compression tools do – splitting large files into smaller pieces which can later be merged to form the original large file. You can open the utility, then either browse to the file using the tool’s interface or simply drag and drop the file into the program. Before you drag and drop, select the “Split File” option and specify the number of parts you want to break it down to. The result is then stored in the destination folder. The small files can be easily transferred online in series; the recipient can use the same application to merge the file using the “Join Files” option.
