OMG! Quake lIVE is so hard because I’m used to first-person shooter games with the present weapons we have now! And most of them in Quake Live are PROS! So, be aware of them or else they will start to get in your nerves!

An (in-)browser game is a game that could be played in the browser you're using, and only gets downloaded to the temp files. Therefore, this is indeed not a browser game - it's an online game. An online game is a game that could be played in the browser your using, and doesn’t have to be downloaded. Therefore, this is not an online game. Multiplayer and online are 2 different things
