There are a lot of elaborate task management and list-making apps that can help keep you and your team on track. But if you're looking for a no-fuss, no-frills way to create a shareable to-do list, Taskade can serve that purpose.

Taskade keeps things extremely simple. In fact, you don't even need to sign up for an account to use all its features.

Creating Lists

When you first load the page, you'll see where you can enter list items and a title for your note or task list. You can create sub-items on your list using the tab button.

You can also  format your text using a series of keyboard shortcuts:

  • Bold: Ctrl/Command+B
  • Underline: Ctrl/Command+U
  • Italics: Ctrl/Command+I
  • Highlight: Ctrl/Command+E

You can also use the free Chrome extension to ensure that Taskade opens up everytime you open a new tab.

Sharing Lists

While you can use Taskade by yourself, sharing lists couldn't be easier. After you've entered text on your list, two links will be generated for you to share. You can share a link for others to view the list, or you can share a link for others to edit.

While Taskade doesn't include any features that make it easy to assign tasks to others, you can get creative with your lists, using formatting and including the name of the individual responsible for the task.

If you choose not to sign up for an account, be sure to hang on to the link that allows you to edit the list so that you can make changes to it at a later date.

Signing up for an account allows you to save and come back to multiple lists at any time.
