Funny that you should say gimespace is better since you're the author of that, but gimespace only offers a trial version that's totally useless. To see if it's worthwhile, you need to make a payment to a service that has an expired security cert and no paypal option -- only actual credit card numbers. It's a small payment but you can't be sure this isn't some scam to collect credit card numbers. Also, you're going to have to pay again (if they've left anything in your credit card account) if you upgrade your system or otherwise change your system. Where's your money going to end up and how much will you end up getting siphoned from your account, you have to ask.

This program is not so workable. Try GiMeSpace Desktop Extender, it is much easier and faster and more flexible!
http://sites.google.com/site/gimespace/
Enjoy!

Hi Evan,
This works perfectly on my Vista machine with Matrox G200 Multi monitor display, across all four monitors.
It looks truly stunning, and the gasps when I start the 360 pan from anyone invited in to view is great to hear.
It would be nice if the display had a constantly moving option
for total wowability and showing off or when you are not working on the computer, like a screensaver.
This option would, obviously, need to be switchable to "normal" mode to enable the other functions to work.
I use the extra space (yes I do need it!!!) even with four monitors.
This is an fantastic piece of software. Very well done.
Look forward to your future plans for this brilliant idea.

Hi Tina (and friends), thanks for your comments and feedback - really appreciate it. in response to a couple of comments: dual monitors - the panning 360desktop (and 360 wallpaper) operates on the primary monitor, and any web widgets, webclip widgets that you put on the desktop, can be put on either the primary or secondary monitor. (the theory here is that the additional desktop space is managed by the additional monitor). Given the very significant feedback we've had re wanting panning 360 wallpaper on both monitors, we've moved the feature to the top of the list (still a couple or releases away). re the 64bit - we've just about got it ready for private beta testing (a couple of weeks away). we're a small team, working very hard to pull everything but thanks again for the patience and very valuable feedback.

Cheers Evan (founder/ceo)

Pretty cool, but I rarely use my Desktop at all, as all files and shortcuts are accessed through the keyboard using either Launchy or Active Words. In fact, I have my desktop set to hide files so that I can enjoy my wallpaper photos.

Thanks for all the feedback!

@ Will, Dod & Aibek: I didn't have the opportunity to test it with Vista or dual monitors.

@Dod: Creating and account with them via the website worked fine for me, though. This might be a temporary problem you experienced.

@ Dod - It happened when I tried it as well, but then I went to Display Settings and re-applied current settings. All the programs were apperaing on the preview window after that.

@ Tina - I also discovered that it doesn't work with Dual monitors.
