flash game creatorHave you ever got bored over a game and felt that you could create one that was better? Maybe the only thing that was holding you back was the lack of programming knowledge.

Now what if there was a way for you to exercise your creativity and create your own game without any programming knowledge? Wouldn’t that be great?

Sploder is an online flash game creator software that allows you to make cool shoot-em up space style arcade games and publish them on the Web. With its Flash-based game creator, you can easily create your own game in minutes, even if you don’t have the necessary skills.

When you first create a game, you will be given a canvas to design your playfield. The width of the canvas is fixed, but you can adjust the shape of the boundary to suit your game play.

While designing the game, there are only two types of scenarios that you can based your game on – capture the crystals or destroy the enemies. Nevertheless, there is no limit on how you want the game to be. It is really up to your imagination and creativity to think out of the box and come up with games that are unique. I have seen a user design a Pac-man style game with the game creator, even though it is really meant for creating shooting games.

On the left of the canvas is a panel that contains a good list of items that you can add to your game to make it more interesting. Items such as robots, turrets, mines, missiles, chemical weapons can be added to the canvas simply by dragging and dropping. You can even rotate and arrange them in the way you want. Obstacles such as walls and polygons are also available for you to make the maneuvering more challenging.

Once you are happy with your game, you can publish and share it with others in the Sploder community. Like any social media site, users can comment, tag, rate or even embed your game in MySpace, Xanga or even their blogs for their friends to play. Every week, Sploder also holds a contest to spotlight the most clever and fun games rated by users.

On the whole, I am rather impressed by Sploder. It’s true that you won’t be able to come up with top-notch 3D games such as World Of Warcraft, but the satisfaction and ability to personalize a game to my liking has made the whole process an awesome experience. Imagine how you feel when someone tells you “your game rocks!”

Well, if you like the simple game that I have created (see below), do tell me in the comments. I am sure it will make my day. Then post the links to your own games so we can try them out.

When you press publish, it will prompt you to select if you want to "allow comment" and "keep private". Make sure you UNCHECKED the "Keep private" field.

well, your games probubly are on the web your just looking in the wrong place. when you first "publish" your game, try looking in "everyones games" and you should see it there. or you can just search the title of your game and it should be there.

LOL...this is my first attempt at creating a game. I have no idea of the difficulty until I play it myself.
