If you dropped your iPhone in a puddle, what’s the first thing you’d worry about? Most likely your photos or your contacts.
One of the best suites for the job is CopyTrans. It’s a selection of iPhone backup apps that work with your calendars, messages, notes, reminders, and contacts. In this piece, we’re going to focus on the CopyTrans Contacts app.
How to Back Up Your Contacts
Using the CopyTrans Contacts app is easy. Firstly, download the EXE file and install it on your system.
Next, open the app and connect your iPhone to your machine. CopyTrans will automatically recognize your device and list all your contacts in the app’s main window.
Using the panel in the bottom left-hand corner, mark the checkboxes next to all the contacts you want to backup. When you’re ready, click Export Selected.
In the new window, choose Save your address book and select your destination folder. All your contacts will be backed up in the VCF format.
Are Other Features Available?
Yes! As well as backing up your contacts, you can use CopyTrans to manage your contacts. The PC app lets you edit and delete them.
The app also doubles an excellent way to sync contacts between services. It works with Outlook, Gmail, iCloud, Excel, Windows, Android, BlackBerry, Thunderbird, Hotmail, and Yahoo. For each service, you can both import and export data.
Unfortunately, the app used to be free but is no longer. When you first download it, you can enjoy a 30-day free trial. If you want to keep using it, you’ll need to buy the full version for $19.99.
