Guacamole – is a clientless remote desktop gateway. It supports standard protocols like VNC and RDP. It’s clientless because no plugins or client software are required. Thanks to HTML5, once Guacamole is installed on a server, all you need to access your desktops is a web browser. Guacamole is and will always be free and open source software. It is licensed under the MIT License.

Dreame – everyone dreams when they sleep but most of the time, the dream is forgotten when the person wakes up. Dreame aims to reverse this by turning dreams into art, as well as providing a wide range of perspectives in a magazine. They also do what they call “exciting and interactive dream projects”. Dreame really reminds me of Rorschach paintings. Could’t imagine anyone can make money from “dream illustrations”. But that’s creativity for you.

Guacamole is not for the novice. It requires a linux machine on your network and serious linux administrator skills including all the bells and whistles of network administration. It’s administration is a matter of managing text configuration files and is mainly done from a text shell.

It’s not for end users but for network administrators who want to provide remote desktop capabilities to the users on the networks she manages.

EyeEm is the next shitty “community” with a lot of users who never use it… because you can’t use the app without registering at this service. There are dozens of equal or better photo and filter apps, which can be used without giving away my contact data to the next company…
