I took CSS Lint and checked my latest css file that I've created. Also I've compared the results with W3C CSS Validator.

    Here are the results:
CSS Lint: 2 errors 125 warning.
ERRORS: it does not recognize some of  @font-face parameters.
WARNINGS: It shouts when use !important parameter. Also when u define for example h4 header and than add some variation as class to it. And many other useful warnings.

    W3C CSS Validator: 8 errors 16 warnings.
It validates based on CSS 2.1 specification so it does not recognize font-face parameters also -khml or -moz parameters.

Only warning are about duplicated color or background color parameters.

So at the end it seams like CSS Lint can be a very useful tool to optimize your CSS file. Rethink some of the definitions.

    Cheers.
