    GhostRec is SCARY!! This ranks right up there with "Google" cookies! Now, someone needs to develop an anti-spyware for websites, as that is what GhostRec is, spyware! I hope that the site developer is at least "moral" enough to notify the client that there every mouse move is being recorded. Liken this to being under video surveillance in your own home so that manufacturers can decide what to sell to you. MakeUseof.com, shame on you for promoting / encouraging this type of activity!

      The idea behind GhostRec is to understand what users are doing when arriving at the website and then use this information to optimize the design of the website. I don't see how this negatively affects the user.

    GhostRec looks good. It reminds me of a similar program called MouseFlow which was featured on MUO recently.

      Yep, GhostRec is pretty cool and indeed very similar to MouseFlow. Though my favorite in this batch is FieldAgent.
