The EXIF is a standard for storing meta information such as the model of a camera used, image creation date and time, resolution settings etc, inside JPEG image files.

    Hi! There's also a german website that removes Exif and IPTC data from Images. For quick-cleaning a picture, no software installation has to be done and it works on other operating systems than MS Windows, too.
