FreeByte Task Scheduler – is a small and zero-install program which enables you to start other programs automatically, periodically and at pre-defined times. This program functions very well in combination with backup software like Freebyte Backup, disk fragmenters, virus scanners and other regularly scheduled functions. Just copy the executable file into a directory of your choice. No special dll’s needed.

Gingko – is a very versatile tool, and has been used for everything from writing physics papers, to planning baby purchases. Gingko’s structure makes it ideal for studying difficult texts. While reading the dialog, you can immediately see the scene summary at the left. If this were organized differently, you could also see commentary and further details to the right.

Play Dot-to-Dot – is a site where you can play the classic game Dot-to-Dot. In the past, Dot-to-Dot was confined to print puzzle books but now it has made the leap to HTML5. To start, simply drag your mouse from numbers 1 to 2 and a shape will appear. Simply join the rest of the dots in order to form a picture. You are timed, and each level gets progressively harder.

The web-page seems to be blurry.

It's not the website that's blurry, it's the whole internet. Robin Thicke and his blurred lines have a way of bleeding through to everything.

What about the old readable Makeuseof? Now characters are little and very clear. It's difficult to read. Idiots have got the power in Makeuseof too.

      Hey Usman.

How does MUO come across Cool Websites?

We find sites/apps online. The process involves browsing the web, reading 100s of feeds and suggestions from our readers.

      And how are they chosen?

Anything that we find useful for our readers is added to CWT.

I launched my website knowtifier.com. Its a news aggregator that goes through the top tech news sources and we pretty much post all news that is posted in a day and combine it into 1 single article. There is no automated process for posting; all posts and combining is done by an editor. What separates us from a RSS app like Feedly/Rockmelt is that when you subscribe to Engadget, Theverge, Cnet, etc. Your mainpage is filled with the same news "Samsung Galaxy Gear Watch Image Leaked" over and over just worded differently. When we combine the news, we give you a snippet and then list all the sources you can go to read that article. No need to see the same article over and over. There is no algorithm and bots that automatically post to the site. We pretty much post all news regardless of big or small. Please check it out. Thanks.
