Aibek, I’ve just started to dabble in CSS3. Needless to say, I’m confused. I’m going to have to check that site out and see if helps. Gosh, I hope so :)

Have you Guys thought about hooking up with InstaPaper? I would love to have the ability to send things like this there. If it can be done, let me know. I may have missed it. Big surprise there :)

      Hey TLW,

What do you mean by hooking up with InstaPaper? Tell me more, I will see if we can add it here.

    Here’s a link to InstaPaper: http://www.instapaper.com/

I use it from my iPhone. I send the things that interest me over to it. It’s a wonderful way to keep myself organized. Once I’ve sent an article over to InstaPaper, I can then get back to read it, study on pc or file it. I would just love it if I could send MUO articles to InstaPaper from the MUO Mobile App. As it stands I can only favorite them. My work around was to load MUO on my Pulse Mini Reader. Here’s a link to that:

    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pulse-news-mini/id377594176?mt=8

As you know, I do most of my reading via my iPhone. I find myself steering away from MUO Mobile because it’s too hard to stay organized from it. When I favorite an article, on MUO Mobile, the only way back to it is my phone. There just has to be a better way. If not InstaPaper, at least a way to access my favorites right here on MUO Web. I think the best solution is by far InstaPaper. Although, I’m not sure what I do from my phone works around the web. I need to check that out.

The thing about InstaPaper that attracts people like me, is how much we read on so many different topics. All that reading needs to be organized for future reference. I got stay on top of game Man :)

P.S. A little more food for thought. How about a choice on MUO Mobile? I’d pay to have ads removed. Many people would. We don’t like popping, moving, jumping ads whilst trying to concentrate. It’s hard enough being a Boomer with out that movement added to the mix. Lol :)

Hey. I just wrote a long comment. Where’d it go?

    • Aibek October 6, 2010

it went to moderation queue. Already approved!

  • TLW October 6, 2010

Did it come through on your side or shall I type it up again?

  • TLW October 6, 2010

Okay. Let me know if you make any changes to MUO Mobile. I’ll stay subscribed to this thread.

  • TLW October 6, 2010

Ah. Ha. I figured out why InstaPaper hasn’t been working on the web for me. You have to log in to your IPaper account first. It then lets me add content I wish to read later. That was a duh moment on me :)

      :-)

You know, I will address the ability to bookmarks content to web from the mobile app with developers and see if we can come up with something.

As regarding the ads, I am afraid they will have to stay there for some time. That was the deal we had with the developers of the mobile app. We don’t make any money of it. That being said, feedback taken.

  • TLW October 6, 2010

I still want a better way for MUO Mobile :)

Teamly has turned out to be a really useful tool for me – having a list of outstanding jobs is always good – but to have it stored on the web now is great!!
