Not necessarily, some evening I just want to watch a movie but not sure which one to choose and that's where such sites can be useful. I have used some in the past and found them pretty helpful.

Cool post, especially love the first site "What should I watch now" - will definitely be using that! Do you know an equivalent site for books? I'm always looking for books similar to my favorites and find it hard to get the ones I want.

Also, I have a site similar to KustNote but it also has Mind Maps, Flashcards and Quizzes - http://www.examtime.com.

It's also free to signup and everything it saved online too so it's handy to access your notes on the bus or train or wherever. I have a lot of brainstorming sessions and ideas and like to keep them all in the one place so find it handy.

Here are some good sites for book suggestions:
      http://www.hclib.org/pub/bookspace/FindAGoodBook.cfm
      http://whatshouldireadnext.com/.

Also, if your local library has a subscription to the online resource "NoveList", that is, hands-down, the best place to go for recommendations based on whatever you liked about other books (setting, characters, writing style, etc.)

Thanks for the links Karrie, I will definitely be using these! I have a Kindle so look for books I might like then I download them rather than borrowing them from a library or buying (unless on impulse).
