From my experience, it doesn’t take IT too long to discover Facebook proxies and block them as well. It’s all about traffic – you tell a lot of people about that awesome new proxy, and soon IT will take a look at that site that so many people are using.

Proxy sites are often on the category list for phishing detection, because lots of phishing sites use proxies. Phishing by proxy is a term that’s routinely thrown about. Kaspersky will flag any proxy site though they may be safe.
