Any file can be put onto a DVD and yes they will still work and you can bring your dvd wherever you like, but I recommend getting aï»¿ flash stick for this method.

Normally, I just download the FLV and convert it to AVI and then import into iTunes. This might be easier though.

Thanks for sharing! I'd still prefer using ImTOO YouTube Video Converter to help me download and convert YouTube videos for my iPod Nano. It supports YouTube HD videos as well.

Yes, there is a free (and simple) software called YouTube Downloader 2.5 (recently upgraded [8/13/09] from 2.1.7 due to changes at YouTube.com) that grabs videos from YouTube, Tube8, Vimeo, Spankwire, Funnyordie, Revver, Pornhost, Bodjojo and more (it worked at bing.com) … into either .flv or .mp4 (no choice at first stage).

After it’s downloaded, just a few clicks and you can convert the video to any of the following: iPod Video (Apple Quick Time MOV), iPhone Video (MPEG-4 MP4), PSP Video (H.264 MP4), Cell Phone (H263 3GP), Windows Media Video (V.7 WMV), XVid MPEG-4 Codec (AVI)), MPEG Audio Layer 3 (MP3), Manual conversion (asks for the insertion of parameters).

Yes — all the pieces of software in Free Studio Manager are good actually (not just the Youtube to ipod converter). I use the Free Youtube to MP3, Free Youtube Uploader, etc. That’s why I asked that you guys should review this package along with Format Factory — you get these two (–>forget all video conversion programs). Only reservation I have is — it’s Youtube-centric.
