As the size of a workplace increases, its tasks become increasingly complex. Often tasks and jobs are divided into sub-tasks that need to be individually monitored from initiation till completion. Keeping tabs on all those tasks manually could be overwhelming for any manager. Fortunately for all managers and team leaders, there is a wonderful issue tracking solution available called Comindware Tracker.

comindware tracker

Comindware Tracking is a tool that helps you track issues and tasks. Basically the app offers you an easier way to manage your tasks and monitor them while providing you with a user-friendly and intuitive interface. With Comindware Tracker, your tasks can be classified into separate categories and you can clearly see which jobs are in progress and which ones have already been completed.

Apart from being a good monitoring tool, the app also lets you automatically generate new tasks when previous ones have been completed thereby automating the workflow process.

To make teamwork possible, Comindware Tracker supports adding collaborators to your account. You can use the app as a locally installed program or use it online – collaborators can be added both ways. Details of each task such as its status, priority, due date, and assignee are all easily available to you. These further simplifies keeping a check on all in-progress issues.

A list of viewers, members, contributors, and owners can be easily looked up anytime by you to ensure that your data is viewable only to the people you want.

Although the Comindware Tracker service is not free, the application’s developers have generously given ( for free) one lifetime fully functional account worth $375; maintenance for a year and full features will be available for your own usage; you will need to pay only when you add collaborators. The Free account will be given away to one of first 10 people to comment on the post.

The software sounds great and easy to use. I'm currently using SharePoint to manage certain tasks, and would love to compare this (it seems much easier to use than SharePoint).

Project management used to be about producing a big GANTT chart at the start of a project and then holding formal meetings to monitor progress. Nowadays projects resemble targets and objectives, populated by a flux of tasks that ebb and flow amongst a team. This fast paced, task-based, constantly evolving, people management problem is starting to be addressed by a new wave of programs like this. Simplicity and flexibility replace detail and structure. Collaboration and 'social business' replace formal project management. If Tracker can help with this, as it seems to be suggesting, then it is on to a winner and would go in my essential toolbox.
