Have you ever wished you could change the color scheme of a website? For one reason or another, the look of a website just might not appeal to you visually, and changing the color scheme can be a great way to rectify the situation. Thankfully, there are ways to fix this and Colorific is a great choice. It is a free Firefox add-on that is designed to let end users adjust the color schemes of a website.

change color scheme website

Once you install this extension, a small icon will appear next to the address bar. This is where you will come to change and adjust the colors for a certain website. While you cannot choose specific colors for the page, you can have it scale away from certain types of colors. For example, you can have it scale away from white, if you hate bright pages.

In addition to colors, you can also invert a site. If you hate reading sites that use light text on a dark background, you can use this add-on to fix that quickly. One thing to keep in mind is that the first time you use this add-on, things may slow down a bit. My browser was unresponsive for a few seconds, but it did come back and get faster after that.

  • Adjust the color scheme of almost any website.
  • Scale away from certain colors.
  • Invert pages.
  • Add color overlays if you want to see the page in a certain color.
