Color Note: Easily Take Notes & Manage To-Do Lists [Android]

Color Note is a simple notepad app for Android. It can be used for taking and editing simple notes – memos, messages etc., as well as for creating and keeping track of to-do lists. Notes can be viewed in traditional ascending order, in a grid format or by the color of each note. When you create a note there are 2 modes to choose from – a simple text note or a checklist mode.

When in text mode, add as many notes as you want, double tap to edit the note and double tap again to make a selection. For every note, you can share it, set a reminder, check it off (if completed) or delete it. When a note is checked off, the app places a slash through the list’s title. If you add a note in checklist mode, you can add as many items as you want, change their order with up and down buttons. Once an item from the list is finished, check it off with a quick tap that generates a line slash through the item. If all the items in the list have been checked, the list’s title is slashed as well.

You can automatically back up your notes to the cloud or set up syncing between different devices (e.g. phone and tablet). It is free and available for download from the Google Play store.

Great for visual learners. Teachers can use this to help teach note-taking skills.
