Most people use online cloud storage services to store and manage their files and documents. The most popular cloud services today are Google Drive, Dropbox or SkyDrive, to name a few. You can access these services both from your desktop and mobile device. To use them from your mobile you will have to install their dedicated Android or iOS app.
However, if you use several of the above cloud services, you will have to access them from their separate mobile apps. It is not very convenient as every app has a different user interface and settings and consumes precious battery power.
That’s where Cloudii comes in. It is an app for Android that lets you manage several cloud services on your smartphone from a single interface and manage multiple accounts per service. It currently supports Dropbox, SkyDrive, Google Drive and Box.com services.
It is more convenient and useful in several ways. First, it saves you time since you won’t have to switch between multiple apps. Second, it saves your smartphone’s battery life because running a single app takes consumes less resources than running 3 or 4 different apps on your mobile. And finally, it lets you manage several accounts per service from within the app, something that the services don’t allow within their native apps.
After you install the app, simply connect to your cloud accounts with your username and passwords. Connected services will appear at the left menu of the app, accessible with a single click. You can then access, edit, download and upload and sync your files like you do with the original apps.
The app offers a 14-day trial to use the app. After that you will have to unlock through an in-app purchase.
