Kindle users will know that there's a way to clip portions of the book they are reading for future reference. Those clippings get saved in "myclippings.txt" in the documents folder of your Kindle. Clippings converter is a simple tool that converts these clippings into Word, Excel or PDF files for better organization.

You'll first need to get the myclippings file from your Kindle's documents folder after connecting the device to your computer. Once you get that, you can upload that to the site and download it in your preferred format.

The formats listed on the site are .xls, .doc or .pdf. That means it only supports the Office 2003 formats. But since the later versions of Office have the compatibility mode, it shouldn't be a problem for most users using Office 2007 or 2010.
