Great to read all your comments here! Please keep on doing this, it really helps us to improve Hard Drive Powerwash.

@Tonino: We offer many commercial products for cleaning and optimizing from our website http://1-abc.net since years. Hard Drive Powerwash FREE is a side-project using parts of technology from our other programs that could be understood an answer to other free cleaning programs. We expect our commercial ones as "better than all any freeware tool", but it is on you to decide if Hard Drive Powerwash FREE is better than CCleaner or whatever ...

@Doc: The option "delete to Recycle Bin" comes from our long time support experience for all 1-abc.net cleaning tools. Many users delete files without really checking before and later they are disappointed if any file is missing. With this feature they can reverse their changes. You can just un-check this option, Recycle Bin is not used. Or empty Recycle Bin from time to time.

@Keith: Thank you for this information, we did not recognize this little interface bug before. In the current version 1.00 the program displays how many days are left and counts and counts instead of telling its users that this is a free version. When 0 days are left, it keeps on counting -1, -2 and so on, so you can use Hard Drive Powerwash as long as you wish. Will be fixed in version 1.01 of course.

@Karl Gechkik: You are right, the PREMIUM edition (users can be upgrade from the FREE edition) offers even more options from even more 1-abc.net programs and is not free. But this is not the subject of this review and these comments :-)
Sorry, forgot to add great post! Can't wait to see your next post!

If this IS indeed a totally free copy and not just a trial version, why did it say "You are running the trial period, you have 10 days left" on the close dialog after I used it the first time?

I'm a long time CCleaner user, but I can see from the screen shots that this has one big advantage: It cleans temp files from multiple user accounts. CCleaner only cleans from the current user account. I'll have to check this out.
