Snapchat is selling Spectacles online at spectacles.com. Which is a killer domain name if we ever saw one. Anyone located in the United States can buy a pair of Spectacles complete with a charging case and cable for $129.99. However, there is a limit of six pairs per household.

Before you even consider buying a pair of Snapchat Spectacles, you should check that you own a compatible device. This means an iPhone 5 or later running on at least iOS 8, or an Android running 4.3 or later, with BLE and Wi-Fi Direct capabilities.

If we’re honest we can’t see Spectacles ever really taking off.     I feel like they could be more useful if you could just set them to send them to the phone's storage only and not snapchat.
