Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner: Search & Delete Duplicate Bookmarks On Firefox

It is not easy to memorize the URL of webpages especially when they are not homepage and have long URLs. It is more convenient to simply bookmark the webpage so can click the bookmark link and be taken to the page, without having to type anything in the address bar. Many of us overuse the bookmarking feature in our web browsers and end up with a lot of clutter. Because it is not easy to organize the bookmarks in this clutter, we cannot find our bookmarks and often create bookmarks for webpages that we have already bookmarked earlier. This adds to the clutter in the form of duplicates that serve no purpose. Here to help get rid of those duplicates on the Mozilla Firefox web browser is a tool called “Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner.”

Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner is a browser add-on for the Mozilla Firefox web browser. This add-on lets you find and delete bookmark duplicates in a very easy manner. You start by first installing the add-on in your browser. You will then find a new submenu in the Tools menu in your browser. This submenu will be titled the same as the add-on; in this submenu you will find an option named “Find duplicates” that you should click. The add-on will then quickly search for duplicate bookmarks and give you the option to delete them, open them, or close the window.

Sometimes you may want a bookmark in more than one folder,

Does the program tell you what folder the “duplicate” is in?
