installed fine for me with no system issues or slowdown whatsoever. Seems to run at about 35000-40000k, which is a lot less than running FARR, my current app launcher.

Haven't had a chance to play around with the macro functionality yet but the app seems to be off to a good start so far!

My feedback: I've installed Blazer and uninstalled it 10 minutes later.

While the idea seems good, and Windows OS needs an application like this, Blazer needs more polishing if it really wants to make it in people's computers. Here's the reasons I did not keep it:
- soon as I've start the app, I've lost control of mouse as if someone was remotely connected to my PC and icontrolng it. It felt like I had to fight over the mouse control - and whatever the reason was, I did not liked the idea;
- I have 4GB of RAM, and as soon as I've started the app, my PC experienced a major slow-down (maybe indexing...but still...)
- I've tried to rename multiple files (as featured) and the Assistant (built in) - hasn't picked up my request. I've ended up renaming 5 files by hand and still nothing. But maybe I got it all wrong (missed a step?)
- I didn't even bother looking to see how much memory Blazer was eating, since I could feel it.

That was my experience with Blazer, and while I like the concept, I will be willing to give it a try later when hopefully the download size of the file will be less the 10MB.

Hi Owen

Did you give the Indexer a chance to run? If not, your results would probably be all screwed up initially. I ran the indexer and two minutes later everything is working great (I would like to see a progress indicator on the indexer, though). It seems pretty smart so far. I'm going to run it through it's paces and see if it's good enough to replace Launchy.

Also, Symantec didn't seem to mind it on my system.

Hope you give it another shot.

1) ran the wrong programs
2) symantec detects virus
3)removed from my system

sorry - sounds worthwhile and idea looked promising but those two problems=knockout blow.

I realise that it could have been a false positive for the virus but on top of poor execution (I type pandora and it runs adobe reader !!??)
