Fans of BBC Radio can take their music with them wherever they go with the launch of their new iPlayer Radio app. Users can listen to all of their favorite BBC Radio stations on their iOS devices with the launch of this brand new application. Apparently, BBC has been working on releasing this mobile radio application for over a year.

All 57 radio stations are available through the new player. It also has some awesome features available such as the ability to set alarms to go off when a certain DJ comes on the air. BBC has included social media integration, so users can find out what kinds of programs their friends are listening to and try them out for themselves. The app also supports BBC podcasts, so users can catch some of their favorite programs, even if they cannot listen live.

Users without an iPhone can use BBC’s newly designed mobile page. This makes it so almost any mobile phone can enjoy their favorite programs. BBC also confirmed that the app is coming to other mobile platforms, such as Android, in the near future.

BBC is clearly making an effort to expand their music presence, as well as their other forms of media. What do you think of the new app?
