  • AT&T Says It Will Unlock Customers’ Devices If They Meet Certain Conditions [Updates]

    AT&T will unlock any of their customers’ devices if their account and device meet several conditions, which are detailed in full in an AT&T company blog post headed “Bottom line: We Unlock Our Customers’ Devices”. This comes as a response to a controversial U.S. law that prohibits cell phone users from unlocking their phone so they can be used with another carrier.

    I’ve been a long time user of the Mac text editor, MarsEdit for writing and posting blog posts to WordPress. In fact, I’d fall to my knees in tears if I had to use the online WordPress editor to write posts. While MarsEdit does pretty much everything I need, a new Mac editor called PixelPumper looks like a very stylish alternative that is available for free in the Mac App Store (note – the app is free while the developers of the application are ironing out the bugs).

    For the last several years, I’ve committed to completing at least one year-long project that requires only my time and discipline. Such projects include completing a daily creative self-portrait project, keeping a private online jazz music appreciation journal, and reading 50 books in 52 weeks. My project for this year is based on an app called 1 Second Everyday, which consists of capturing a second of my life for an entire year.

Although the latter app has always been more feature-rich, the latest updates of the Kindle for iPad and iPhone include some much-needed features that users should know about.
