Windows and Mac computers have a useful shortcut involving the Tab key that helps them quickly switch to other applications. This saves you mouse movements and clicks you otherwise would have to make. The action is extremely useful while using multiple displays and when you need to quickly switch to an app on another display screen. For Mac users unfortunately, the mouse pointer remains in the same location while switching displays through apps using the (?)+Tab hotkey shortcut. Here to remedy this is a useful application called App Switch.
App Switch is a freeware desktop utility for Mac computers. The app is sized at nearly 4 MB and is compatible with computer running Mac OS X 10.7 or later. When installed and running, this program introduces a small but useful change to the Mac’s interface – it places the mouse pointer at the center of the app window you switch to using the (?)+Tab hotkey shortcut. This way you can quickly shift to an app on another display screen and have the mouse follow you there instantly.
