Announcement.jpg The writing team here at Make Use Of is gradually expanding. Please say hi to our two latest writers - Dave and Sumesh. You have already seen their first articles. Dave posted about Flight Tracking Websites and Sumesh did a piece on Youtube tools. So without further ado, they will now introduce themselves :
dave_profile.jpg My name is Dave and I am a IT Manager by day and technology consultant by night. I am interested in all things internet, but especially interested in system administration, security, history, and networking. I live near Philadelphia with my family. sumesh.jpg My name is Sumesh, and I am a 16 year old student and part-time blogger from India. I love everything tech, be it hardware, software, web or coding. I am also a gadget freak. I write regularly for my blog TechZilo on topics like SEO, blogging tips, WordPress optimization and resource posts on various tools like Photoshop and GIMP.

    @Dave: Hello to you too - I am looking forward to seeing you on MUO team, plus your posts.

    @Shankar: Is that a problem or a good thing - about those resource posts? I realized that normal posts don’t give me the exposure, so resource posts (viral posts) is the way for me to promote my blog, atleast temporarily.

    They’re infact good, but too many resource posts are very bad IMHO. It creates a sense that you’re blogging for social media only, and not for real readers.

    But doing such posts once in a while is of course not bad at all. It does do good.
