Makes you wonder about their revenue model though. They obviously want people to buy the proper PC or mobile version. But why would anyone pay for it if they can get it for free on Facebook?

I personally paid for the iPad version when it first came out, so I am a bit hacked off that it is now free on Facebook.

I don't think it's the same, really. Personally, I don't like playing games on Facebook. It's too social, it bugs me about my friends, it's inside my browser (Firefox crashed when I loaded it the first time), and it's another app that I need to grant access to my profile.

Also, if you want to play anywhere but in front of your computer, it's not going to be very useful, and the gameplay itself is not as good as on a smartphone or tablet.

In addition, it doesn't include all the levels you get on mobile, I think, so that's one more reason for you to buy the full game. All in all, I think they're smart for letting people try it on Facebook. People will get addicted and want more, and more often, and they'll end up buying it for their phone/tablet.

You can always set it so you're the only one who can see posts made by the game before you launch it, and this way there's no spam for you friends.
