September 27th could see the successor to Angry Birds being flung across the skies to glory. But reports say that it is not going to be another rehash of the slingshot ways of Angry Birds. Rovio is launching another game based on its mean pigs called Bad Piggies. But this time around you will need more than rudimentary knowledge of parabolic arcs to compete in the game.
Bad Piggies will need a healthy dose of imagination as it will involve ingenuity on your part while you set about constructing anything from rambling and rickety jalopies to assembled flying machines. Then you have to steer them around. Angry Birds became ragingly popular because of its simplicity. Bad Piggies and its intuitive blueprint mode will help you drag and drop parts quickly and easily, with a little stretch of the imagination.

Bad Piggies is not exactly a sequel because Rovio is looking at it as a separate franchise. Petri Järvilehto, EVP of Games at Rovio told Y! Games,
“As far as the gameplay goes, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds are complete opposites. Angry Birds smash things up, Bad Piggies build stuff. The pigs are all about making plans and building things, even — and especially — when they don’t work!”
Come September 27th and Bad Piggies will be available for iOS, Android, and Mac. And very soon the Windows Phone and Windows PC versions will follow. Take a sneak peek at the official Bad Piggies site or follow the pigs around on Facebook and Twitter.
